While camping at Susan Creek Campground along the North Umpqua River in Oregon, we hiked up to Susan Creek Falls. Easy hike just a little over a mile one way from the beginning of the trail. It is a easy hike with interesting things to see along the way and even a bench or two. In the summer months it is a popular spot. This particular falls is one of several along this stretch of Highway 138 in Oregon heading East from the town of Roseburg. Beautiful drive, several nice camping areas along the way, and several waterfalls to visit and hike to! We visited in late fall so the water flow was likely at one of the low points of the year, but it was still lovely! Take a look at our YouTube video to get a good idea of what it is like!
I definitely must go see this place. Thanks for sharing.
