On our way south from Washington State and the Airstream Rally we stopped at the Newberry Volcanic National Monument. Nice visitors center, and lots to see and do in the area! A easy walk on a path up a lava flow, very interesting to see. A lava tube cave to explore (bring a flashlight and sturdy shoes), a drive up to Paulina Lake at the caldera and hiking trails. There are also several campgrounds surrounding the lake. Beautiful area! Check out our video on YouTube about this interesting place!
