We have camped for many, many years! During our lifetime we both had VW buses, and we have tent camped, backpacked, we also had a motor home, a fifth wheel, and a adorable 1946 teardrop that we loved and used for 33 years, and we now travel in our vintage 1963 Airstream Bambi. Back in 2004, we had recently returned home traveling in our teardrop from the first International Teardrop Meet in Minden, Nebraska and a 6 week trip on the road when we found our Bambi on eBay! It was a charmer! It had been sitting for years and needed a total frame off restoration, but everything was there! We won the auction, drove to Utah, picked up our short short trailer and brought her home! Nine months later the total restoration was complete and we began our new camping adventures in our Airstream!
